Design Phases
Most of the time there just isn't the available resources to implement every single phase but if performed in the correct manner it can save a lot of time in the long term. Here is a list of the main phases within the process of web design that we always try to cover...
• Universal Usability • Information Architecture • Interface Design • Site Structure • Page Structure • Page Design • Typography • Editorial Style • Forms and Applications • Graphics • Multimedia
Usability
We understand the importantance to reduce functional limitations through design. TouchlineWebDesign aim for universal usability and in turn improve the quality of the user experience. We always work towards universal usability by adopting an open minded universal design approach.
Information Architecture
There are a broad range of design and planning disciplines within information architecture; technical design, user interface, and graphic design. We understand the importance of all of these disciplines to cooperate and produce a cohesive, coherent, and consistent user experience.
Wireframing / Prototyping
Graphic design and visual graphics are not used simply to enliven web pages - graphics are integral to the user’s experience within a site. In interactive documents, graphic design cannot be separated from issues of interface design. We try to include this basic information and elements so that at least 90 percent of users are presented with an understandable web user interface.
